I really love how cozy this game actually is, like I genuinely feel quite calm playing this! The game is quite pretty, and the music is just absolutely beautiful (genuinely I want to be able to listen to this so much). The raccoon controls perfectly, and I really appreciate the sheer number of settings available!

I think my issues with this game come down to the dialogue and level design, as I find they aren't interesting enough. The characters are perfectly fine, but they aren't memorable in a way so there's no real fun in chatting to them (Bar the crow Noir, love them so much), which is a problem when the story is quite simple like here.

The level design as it is is fine and does its job, but it lacks a lot of landmarks to make the place more memorable, so I often found myself getting a bit lost or struggling to find an object (especially with trying to find the fox). The start of the game is especially notable for this, as I really had no clue what to do until I stumbled into the cave.

I really liked hunting for the bonus objects though, that was a nice optional challenge that I really appreciate. And again, that piano is beautiful and I want more of it! <3

Overall, honestly really like this game. It has its problems, but still hits the right vibe and feels great to play!

Thank you very much for the feedback.  I do agree that the map needed more unique landmarks.  As often is the case, time was the factor in making more assets to help with that.

Story wise, none of our team were really writers, so we struggled with that part a bit.  If we had more time, maybe adding additional animations and camera movement would have added a bit more to the them.

Our artist made the cave tree very large so you could see it above all the others on the map.  I guess a short cut-scene with camera movement toward it at start could have helped with giving direction to the player.

Thank you for taking the time to play and leave the detailed feedback! 👍

very basic but the game nails the basics in a way that makes me want to play forever. when a game makes just basic movement feel good thats a sure sign of dev skill. the music and aesthetic nail the cozy theme, and the storys characters are immediately charming despite not having much to say due to the short run time. i see that your other games are scifi themed but if you ever pivot to more cozy or spooky games ill be the first in line to play <3

Thanks for the video.  It's really good to see what worked and didn't.  From your video it seems I could have made the sniff function a  bit clearer as it looked like you were having a hard time with that.  Glad you enjoyed the game.
